Gaite Jansen gets regular role in BBC’s hit series Line of Duty
The Dutch actress Gaite Jansen has a regular role in the fourth season of the BBC hit series Line of Duty obtained.
That has her agent announced Monday. The recordings are currently in place in Great Britain.
Line of Duty is one of the most popular British politieseries of the moment and attracts a weekly audience of millions of people. The series tells about a special unit that deals with corruption within the police force.
The character Jones plays is called Hana Reznikova, though it is still not published what her function in the story is.
The series is in the Netherlands not yet broadcast. It is the second major role in an English-language series that the 24-year-old actress has obtained. Previously, Jones also already seen in the BBC hit Peaky Blinders, a gang who is just after the First world War was active in Birmingham. The Dutch actress shared in this series, the set with stars like Cilian Murphy and Sam Neill.
In the Netherlands, was the actress seen in movies such as How expensive was the sugar, 170 Hz, and Kneeling on a bed of violins. For those last two roles, she received Golden Calf nominations. Also played the actress in The Silent Power with Toneelgroep Amsterdam.
