Zelfstrikkende shoe from Nike comes at the end of november in USA
The previously announced zelfstrikkende shoe from Nike is located at the end of november in the stores in the United States.
The shoes are from the 28th of november at a select few shops to be found, according to a tweet from Heidi Burgett, the pr-boss of Nike. This HyperAdapt 1.0 shoes were earlier this year already announced.
When the user zelfstrikkende shoe attracts, is he automatically around the foot drawn on the basis of an algorithm. How tight the footwear must, be measured with a gevoeligheidsensor in the sole.
A lamp in the heel of the shoe gives the status of the battery. The shoes charge takes three hours and with a fully charged HyperAdapt 1.0, users can according to Nike two weeks walking around. The cable system in the shoe is made of suspended along a fishing line.
Back to the Future II
The shoe is inspired by a scene from the movie Back to the Future II from the 80s, where main character Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox), a few zelfstrikkende shoes. Last year introduced Nike even though zelfstrikkende shoes based on the gadget from this movie, but those were not available for general sale.
The price of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is not published. Technologieblad Wired, Tuesday an article published about the new shoes of Nike, has the “high tech shoes with a matching high price”. If and when the modern shoe comes to the Netherlands, is not known.
