YouTuber Jessie, Maya, receives the first Pride Award

YouTuber Jessie, Maya, the first Pride Award was received for her contribution to the history of the lhbti community. The prizes were this year awarded for the first time by the AVROTROS.

The Pride Awards will be handed out to the well-known and not-well-known people who have been in the lhbti community. In addition to vlogger Jessie, Maya, and received chain of custody information officer Krystztof Dobrowolski-Onclin at a price. The by Bas Kosters designed the awards were presented by the minister of Education, Culture and Science, Ingrid van Engelshoven.

Jessie, Maya, and received it in the category of fame, the highest number of votes, thereby overtaking the photographer Erwin Olaf, the tv presenter Daisy van der Linden, football player Merel van Dongen and actress Romana, the Peace behind it. The YouTuber that makes videos about her life as a transvrouw and is thereby made of the transition that they are undergoing discussion.

Dobrowolski-Onclin, it was from more than 350 submissions from the public, as well as more obscure lhbti-the hero chosen by the Pride Awards panel of judges, consisting of the presenter Cornald Maas, a code of conduct-chairman of the Astrid Oosenbrug, and Amsterdam’s Pride-the chairman, Frits Huffnagel. The information officer has been working for twenty years as a volunteer with the code of conduct, for which he was fixing at the schools in Amsterdam, the co-ordinates.

The Pride Awards this year, for the first time, issued by the AVROTROS.
