Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’rourke responded late Thursday to what he claimed was a “death threat” from the Texas state legislature.
Briscoe Cain, a member of the Texas house of representatives, released had a Twitter message on Thursday’s democratic debate in Houston, after O’rourke said he planned to take high-powered weapons, the chosen of civilians, when the President.
“Hell yeah, we’re gonna take your AR-15,” O’rourke, a former Congressman from El Paso, Texas, tweeted during the debate.

“My AR is ready for you, Robert Francis,” Cain said, with the help of O’rourke’s birth name.

At this point, O’rourke made it clear that he interpreted Cain’s tweet to be a joke.
“This is wrote a death threat, agent,” O’rourke. “Clearly, you don’t own a AR-15 should—and you should not someone else’s.”
Cain replied: “You are a child of Robert Francis.”
Such weapons are shootings have been a topic of debate in the country following the recent mass – but especially in Texas, where 22 people were fatally shot at a Walmart store in the O’rourke’s home town of El Paso, on Aug. 3, and eight people were fatally shot suspect in the rampage in the Midland-Odessa area on Aug. 31.
O’rourke, 46, served in Congress from January 2013 until the beginning of this year. He began his 2020 presidential nomination, according to the generate national awareness, while a high-profile, but failed in the U.S. Senate against incumbent Ted Cruz, a Republican.
O’rourke has argued for a mandatory return of the assault weapons, among other gun control measures the time of purchase.
Cain, 34, is a Republican from Baytown, represents Texas’ 128 district, covering part of Harris County.
The website VoteSmart.org shows that Cain’s pro-Second Amendment votes in this year the support for allowing guns in places of worship, so that the storage and Transport of firearms in school Parking lots; and the authorisation of police officers to carry firearms on school grounds.

In March, Cain, drew attention to a class assignment to a Texas school, argued he had tried to promote it, a teacher-anti-Trump agenda.
In February, Cain is a U.S.-America was to help a group of state lawmakers, the proposed use of state money,-Mexico border wall in the middle of the stalled efforts of the Federal government.
