In addition to growing food, provides the packaging for an environmental impact. Ask yourself if you really need individually wrapped servings and or your fresh vegetables or fruit in a separate bag should do. A lot of vegetables and fruit all by itself, a natural packaging.

You can always choose your own reusable boxes, jars or containers to bring when you go to the (super)market. Also, there are more and more package-free stores, such as, for example, Robust in Antwerp or Ohne in Ghent, where you eat your food in bulk can buy.
