MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s Yandex and Hyundai Mobis Co Ltd, an auto parts affiliate of Hyundai Motor Co, agreed to joint development of systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, Yandex said Tuesday.

The companies plan to present a driverless prototype of the vehicle on the basis of a standard Hyundai or Kia production model cars before the end of the year, a Yandex spokesman.

In the future, the collaboration is aimed at building a new autonomous control system for the auto manufacturers, car sharing services and taxi fleets.
