Wyoming Sen. Enzi remains in the hospital after emergency surgery

GILLETTE, Wyoming – Wyoming US sen Mike Enzi, the recovery is prohibited in accordance with emergency gall bladder surgery and a spokesman for the Republican hopes soon to return to work.

Enzi says the way the Gillette News Record, he had the feeling of a little bit, and on Sunday, he felt progressively worse and went to the hospital, where doctors removed the bladder of his gall. The surgery was performed at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette.

The 73-year-old Enzi, a former mayor of Gillette, missed a scheduled speech Monday at a Gillette cemetery.

Press maintenance Max D’onofrio, says Enzi remained in the hospital Tuesday and was hoping, again, his schedule, when the Congress returns next week to Washington from the break.

Enzi has been a senator since January 1997. He is Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee.
