“I was stunned. I didn’t know what to think,” Duhon told KLAF, adding that he thanked the woman and drove home.

But the cashier said the woman paid for the groceries, because her father served in the second world War. Duhon usually wears his veterans hat around.

“I want them to know that I appreciated it very very much and I want them to know that she is an angel,” Duhon told KLAF.

Duhon is looking for the woman in the person and the station is at the insistence of those who know her to reach.
