On the occasion of World Veggie Day calls EVA (Ethical Vegetarian Alternative) all the Belgians on 1 October vegetarian to eat and a photo of his veggiemaatijd the world with the hashtag #wereldveggiedag.
Just like last year, calls EVA – full-Ethical Vegetarian Alternative – everyone is on to on World Veggie Day the vegetarian tour to go on. If everyone participates, “then we save the lives of more than 650,000 animals’, according to a press release. ‘That 105 horses, 1.845 cows and calves, 2.405 sheep, 8.842 rabbits, 15.316 pigs, 324.897 chickens, 15.746 other poultry and 285.967 fish to be exact.’
EVA hopes that the call all living rooms seep from the cracks, and that we make our best effort to make the animals at least one day respite to give. Difficult can’t do that, because the alternatives to meat in the plate are numerous and (mostly) delicious.
To the action still in the “picture” to convert the organisation asks to take a picture of you veggiemaaltijd and posts via Facebook and Twitter, with the hashtag #wereldveggiedag.
On the occasion of this holiday, go EVA, in collaboration with chef Nicolas Decloedt, itself 200 dishes of the so-called ‘World Veggie Day’-court free handing. On the menu: boerenkoolcannelloni of veggiegehakt and mushrooms with pompoensaus. Place of appointment is the Ghent Veggiehuis, on 1 October at 12 pm, where mayor Daniël Termont and the entire Ghent schepencollege the cannelloni tasted.
Whom the court itself wants to prepare, on the basis of this video. Tasty. (DB)
