World port days attract more than 380.000 visitors

The 39th edition of the world port days in Rotterdam has a small 380.000 visitors drawn. From Friday to Sunday were dozens of activities in and around the port are planned.

Added to this was the Aeolus, a ship with legs that is used for the transport and the placement of wind turbines at sea, the great crowd puller.

Saturday was the busiest day, with approximately 150,000 of those interested during the day and a further 40,000 in the evening for a firework display from the Aeolus, which for this occasion at the Erasmus bridge was.

Sunday there were more than 120,000 men and Friday, there were already some 60,000 “ordinary” visitors and 6,000 students, and students to the world port days come, says the organization.

Worse again

Last year, the event attracted in three days around 320,000 visitors, but when the weather was worse. At the event usually come out around 400,000 people.

Next year is the fortieth times a anniversary edition. The preparations for the start next week again.
