The Russian deputy prime minister Vitaly Mutko take a step back as chairman of the organising committee for the soccer world cup in Russia next year. That has Mutko self-published.

Mutko declared an intention to ‘concentrate on the job in the government. Director-general Alexander Sorokin will take over tasks.


The controversial Mutko is according to the report, McLaren is one of the people responsible for the staatsgeleide doping system in Russia between 2011 and 2015.

He was given early this month by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) lifelong banned from the Olympic Games, but the Wereldvoetbalbond FIFA loved him despite persistent criticism still outside shot.
