A former campaign staff from the year 2020, the presidential candidacy of Sen. Bernie Sander filed a labor complaint this week alleging that some employees faced retaliation for their participation in the organization for a collective agreement.
The staff, not so far identified to the public, filed the complaint with the National labor Relations Board (NLRB) on Tuesday, according to a redacted copy of the indictment obtained by Bloomberg law.

The complaint alleges that Sanders’ campaign made unionized employees to work additional days, without a day, thereby violating the conditions of their collective agreement.
Campaign management “retaliated against me when I organized the bargaining unit and sent a E-Mail request to the compliance with the [collective bargaining agreement],” the individual in the indictment.
The charges, if true, could Vt be an ironic blow to the self-proclaimed democratic, socialist senator, I -., who has portrayed himself as an ally of the organized labor movement.
Sanders made history earlier this year after the announcement that his campaign staff would be representation by a trade Union.
