A woman who repeatedly bought containers of compressed air at a Walmart store in Florida was arrested Tuesday after a sheriff deputy found her covered in vomit in her vehicle outside the store, authorities said.
Police say Tammy Irvin, 34, was probably the inhalation of compressed air in the course of six hours outside of the Callahan, Fla., shop, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said Fox 30 in Jacksonville.
The heating in Irvin, the vehicle was on the highest setting, in accordance with heating, compressed air, the police said. The deputy on the scene said Irvin turned out to be a bottle of compressed air, with three other bottles in the car.
Deputies said Irvin told them that she planned to sit in her truck and “nowhere to go,” the station reported.
Irvin was charged with inhalation of hazardous chemical, the report said.
