“That’s when I pushed the door, trying to open the door, I’ve got the feeling of someone’s hand on top of me,” Osorio told WCBS-TV.

“He just kept insisting that I get from here to there,” she added. “I told him, ‘don’t bother me. I do have asthma. My lungs are very bad.'”

Osorio told police she tried to scream for help but the man slapped her and pushed her to the ground. He is reported to have asked where she kept her money and took off with $5,000 each.

Osorio later told the police that the money had been set aside for the purchase of a headstone for her husband of 50 years, who had died two years before, and the New York Daily News reported.
