Witnesses claim Kailee McMullen complained about his father’s abuse

Several witnesses in the trial of an Oklahoma man accused in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old daughter, alleged in court Wednesday that the woman noticed that he / she is physically and sexually abused her for months before her death, according to the report.

“She told me that her dad hit her and her nose is bleeding,” a friend of Sonia Ghanatti Hester testified that the victim’s Kailee McMullen. “She told me that her mother pulled a gun on him,” The Oklahoman reported.

The witness said she told her father, Ronald Lee McMullen, later on climbed in to bed with her, and her mother, and touched her inappropriately, according to The Oklahoman.

McMullen, 45, was charged with first-degree murder in the June 2017 and shoot.

McMullen called 911 to report that his daughter was shot, but when officers arrived, he was covered in blood, he allegedly continued to try to get it off with a towel, KFOR reported.

Attorney Michael Johnson said in his opening statement Tuesday that the gun residue on Kailee’s hand, it supports the claim that the gunshot wound is self-inflicted.

The prosecutor disputed the defense contention, giving McMullen called out to his wife, and his daughter’s mother before he called 911.
