Rapper A$AP Rocky’s long-time manager, John Ehmann, had his hotel room robbed on Friday morning, after being there for a house search in Stockholm, while the client is sitting in a Swedish prison, Fox News has learned.

A source close to the “L” $D” rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers – said that just before 8 p.m. local time, Ehmann was woken up by four of the Swedish police, who said they had a search warrant. The source said that the officers came into the room and took the manager’s cell phone, indicating that she wanted to have his access code so they could examine the contents.

Ehmann — that is, in Sweden, since it’s a period of time before the rapper was arrested after an altercation with the alleged attacker, was nowhere to be found in the vicinity of the place where the fight was taking place, according to the source.

According to the company, Ehmann, “was completely surprised” by the raid, and I didn’t have a clue what it is.”

On Friday, the Swedish Prosecution Authority has opened an investigation into the individuals in Sweden who is Rocky, 30, is accused of attacking his team, and the security guard.

“The investigation is going on, the American artist, who is being held by the district court of Stockholm, in Sweden on suspicion of molestation in Stockholm,” the Prosecution Authority said in a news release.

“The various research measures have already been carried out and the analysis of material remains. There is also a preliminary investigation into the cause of the injured party, who is accused of assault and sexual assault.”

The Swedish Prosecution Authority does not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Rocky is scheduled to be held till the 19th of July, at the latest, at which point the prosecutor will decide whether to dismiss or for a longer detention period, in order to complete an investigation.

However, Rocky’s, lawyer’s, Alan Jackson’s, told Fox News on Friday his client should be released because he was not a threat to anyone, and have done nothing wrong.

“My understanding is that the date of the meeting, the date on which the public prosecutor will be and to determine whether or not the prosecuting attorney needs additional time to set up the actual trial date,” said Jackson.

“And keep in mind, I am not an authority on the Swedish proceedings, but it is my understanding in talking with the local council, which is the date on which the prosecuting attorney has to do one of two things. Well, I think, is one of three things: first, he was able to walk in and drop the charges, he was able to release part of it and the notion that the Rockies were, in fact, is not a flight risk, that he will not be exposed to the risk of either destroying evidence or committing more crimes, what are the three reasons why someone else.”

Jackson went on: “It is our understanding that the district attorney has indicated that he will speak to the judge and asked for extra time, and that it would not, of course, is our hope.”
