Wiegman relieved after hard fought victory Oranjevrouwen
Coach Sarina Wiegman was Thursday night and is relieved after the hard fought 1-0 victory of the Oranjevrouwen on Denmark in the second team contest the european CHAMPIONSHIP.
Her team remained intact in a thrilling final and picked up three important points in the battle for a place in the quarter-finals.
“In the second half we were mainly at the stop. We were unable to get the ball in to team, so it was really exciting”, said Wiegman afterwards in The Castle in Rotterdam against the NIS.
Orange played a strong first half and after twenty minutes the lead after Sherida Pointed a penalty kick is silver plated. After peace was Denmark that dominated and good opportunities, got on the equalizer. The strong keepende Sari van Veenendaal has seemed, however, that the Netherlands points spilled in Rotterdam.

By the victory in Denmark has Orange in the third and final team contest against Belgium with a point enough to make the quarter-finals to reach. Wiegman is not, however, plan to with that setting the match to go.
“We’re not going to change things, so we don’t come for a draw play,” says Wiegman. “We want that contest just to win.”
The netherlands-Belgium begins Monday at 20.45 hours in the Koning Willem II Stadium in Tilburg, the netherlands. The other match in group A between hekkensluiter Norway and Denmark, and also begins to 20.45 hours.
