Katie Arrington on what your win could signal for midterms
GOP congressional candidate and trump pendant speaks to your primary victory against Rep. Mark Sanford in South Carolina.
South Carolina State Rep. Katie Arrington stunned the political world, if you are the incumbent, Rep. Mark Sanford beat in the quest to the U.S. house in June.
Shortly after your 12. June-victory, Arrington accident, a woman dead was involved in a serious car. Arrington, 47, and the woman was in the vehicle with her sustained serious injuries.
After several weeks in the hospital, Arrington announced on 6. July, she left the hospital, but she still has a long road ahead of her in the direction of recovery.
Read on to know more for a look at three things about the Congress elections.
It was supported by trump
Arrington challenged incumbent Sanford in the South Carolina Republican primary in June. Sanford, which used to be the Palmetto state’s Governor, was critical of the President Trump.

Trump is Argentina comment was in reference to Sanford’s infamous affair in the office. In June 2009, Sanford disappeared for a few days, and it turned out later, he had with his mistress in Argentina.

Sanford left the Capitol and went on to win his congressional seat in 2013.
Arrington beat Sanford in the June 12 primary with more than 50 percent of the vote, compared to Sanford’s 46.5 percent. She told Fox News that serve only plans, for eight years.
She is a political newcomer
Arrington, a state representative was only since 2017. It represents the 94th electoral district, which includes Charleston and Dorchester Counties in the lowcountry.
As a representative of the state, Arrington sits on the statutory supervision and the medical, military, Public and Municipal Affairs committees.
Prior to her time in the office, Arrington worked as a leader with a military defense contractor, which, according to her campaign website. In their work, they will reduce “helped the cost, while still ensuring that our nation’s military has the tools you need,” their website States.
It was a hard accident injured in a car
Arrington was seriously injured in a car accident on June 22, after a vehicle she was traveling was struck by a wrong-way car. A friend who was also in the car was seriously injured, as well. The driver was killed in the other vehicle.
Arrington sustained multiple broken ribs and a fracture in the back. They, too, undergo multiple surgeries, including the removal of part of your colon and your small intestine had to, according to their campaign.
More than a week after the accident, Arrington shared a photo of himself in the hospital, together with a message of thanks to those who prayed for her recovery.
At a later press conference, your condolences expressed to the family of the other driver, a White 69-year-old Helen. You also said, you are credited with that was your life to God, and Jacqueline Goff, who is in the car with her.
Democratic candidate Joe Cunningham suspended for a few days after the crash and wanted to Arrington on a full recovery.
