Judge Emmet Sullivan was the focus of Michael Flynn’s dramatic sentencing delayed on Tuesday once again.
Sullivan went on to Flynn, President Trump, former national security adviser, told him he couldn’t hide his “disgust” or “contempt.”
“Well, it of your country,” Sullivan sold Flynn said.
The 71-year-old judge raised the question of whether Flynn committed treason, before he went back, the comments. He said he was not suggesting Flynn has, in fact, treason committing, but the question prosecutors about the possible crimes, because he was “just curious.”

Sullivan was nominated for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 1994 by former President Bill Clinton. It was later confirmed that year.
Prior to that, Sullivan was nominated for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 1992 by former President George H. W. Bush. In 1984, he was nominated for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia by former President Ronald Reagan.
He made news with a request for asylum earlier this year
Sullivan made national headlines in August after he learned that mother and daughter had been deported, although their asylum application system in front of him, according to The National Law Journal.

He according to reports, the government ordered “to turn the airplane, either now or when he lands.”

Sullivan is a two-time graduate of Howard University. He received a bachelor’s degree in 1968 and a law degree in 1971.
He clerked for judge James Washington of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, before he was in private practice for a decade.
