At the age of 28 years, Ocasio-Cortez, their campaign led with a relatively low budget and remained steadfast and tremendous jet power to the liberals. You called Crowley, a 56-year-old, has been in Congress since 1999, when in connection with groups aligned with President Trump and the Republicans.
Crowley, the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, the fourth highest ranking position in the Democratic leadership in that chamber of Congress.
“The community is ready for a movement of economic and social justice,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “This is what we are trying to convey.”
She was outspent 18-1 in the primary election for the 14th district, and even The Associated Press said, to do that you have enough money polling for the race.

According to her campaign website, she also worked for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, and in particular immigration case works and foreign Affairs.
Ocasio-Cortez received support from progressive, including Cynthia Nixon
During her primary campaign, Ocasio-Cortez, primary, along with Cynthia Nixon, the former “Sex and the City” actress is running against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Governor elections. Nixon, a progressive, has already been credited with a powerful Cuomo more to the left on some issues in this race.

“The only way you beat a machine with one movement, and the only way that this movement can maintain its own, when we, in good faith, on common values of a New York citizen. I think that is where Cynthia and I to come together,” Ocasio-Cortez told the Cut after receiving Nixon’s approval. “I appreciate the work and the impact it has already made, due to the fact that you can go to ‘view’ and talk about the abolition of ICE cream. What we can do, is tag-team this message so that every community can hear it, must hear it. And I think that this kind of solidarity along the lines is very, very powerful.”
After their victory, Nixon said, “Here in New York, the progressive revolution has started, and we could not be more proud to be a part of this movement.”

Apart from Nixon, Ocasio-Cortez was also supported by a bevy of liberal groups, including MoveOn and Our Revolution.
Former housing and urban development Secretary Julian Castro extended his congratulations Ocasio-Cortez on social media.
“She ran responded to an inspiring, energetic campaign and the people in New York, 14th electoral district,” Castro said.

She is a member of the Democratic socialists of America
Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic socialists of America, which bills itself as the largest socialist organization in the United States
She told the Vogue magazine that socialism, to her, means “democratic participation would be to our economic people, and our economic, social, and racial dignity.”
“To me, what is the meaning of socialism, the safeguarding of the basic level of dignity. It is the assertion of the value says that the America we want, and America, we are so proud of is one in which all children have access to a solid education. It is one in which no person is too poor to live the medications you need to. It is to say that no individual citizen’s rights are violated. And it is to say that we need to examine the historical injustice that have created a lot of inequalities – both in terms of economy and social and racial justice – because they are intertwined,” she said.

After returning to the Bronx after college, Ocasio-Cortez, pushed for more childhood, education and literacy, according to The New York Times. They also began with a publisher’s books produces the representation of the Bronx in a positive way, The New York Daily News reported that in 2012.
Her education also helped her foray into politics, she told Elite Daily.
“Policy, at the table, every single day,” she said. “It is the culture. In Puerto Rico, you don’t talk about politics, even if the people agree.”
