What drones? Fed finds no drones at former nuclear weapons site

AIKEN, S. C. – the Federal government in the extent to which a rash of reported sightings of unmanned drones flying over a former nuclear weapons site in South Carolina, but nothing could be verified.

The us Energy Department, says they examined a dozen reported sightings since June in the sensitive Savannah River Site. The Augusta Chronicle the Department of Energy, briefed a local citizens council Monday about their findings.

The agency is the conclusion? No drones were found or confirmed.

Pilots have long been told to avoid the airspace above the Savannah River Site near the South Carolina line with Georgia. Thus, when the observations were first reported, the site made, public announcements and sent e-mails to its employees to look at the sky. Guards even vehicles can be checked, in an attempt to get behind the drones or their pilots.
