Westbrook passes Bird with sixties ‘triple-double’ in NBA

Russell Westbrook in the night from Wednesday to Thursday still, but once again proven its value for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 28-year-old American brought in the winning encounter with the New Orleans Pelicans (114-105) 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists on the scoreboard, and thus brought the age of sixty ‘triple-double’ in the NBA.

Thus passed Westbrook the legendary Larry Bird, who between 1979 and 1992 at 59 remained stuck. The record is owned by Oscar Robertson: 181.

Westbrook was recently chosen as one of the basisspelers for the NBA All-Star Game of February in New Orleans. The players, media, and NBA fans gave Stephen Curry to the surprise of many in preference to the star of the Thunder.
