Wenger: is he still on now or not?

The Frenchman promises quick clarity about his future at Arsenal.

Precisely at the moment that Arsenal one of his worst periods in the Premier League is going through under the 20-year reign of Arsène Wenger, it looks more and more that the Frenchman next season still at the helm of the London club will stand.

Arsenal lost on Saturday 3-1 on the field of West Bromwich Albion, the fourth defeat in five competitiematchen already for the Gunners, who were thereby diminished to the sixth place in the standings. In between, left Bayern Munich in the eighth finals of the Champions League (5-1, 1-5 at home) no chip very of the people of london.

But after the match insured Tony Pulis, the manager of West Bromwich Albion, the English press that Wenger has decided to also next season to stay on board of Arsenal. “I would be surprised if he leaves,” said Pulis. Wenger himself confirmed that yet, but said Saturday after the end of the party, however, that he made a decision about his future had taken, and that ‘very soon’ would communicate.

Two decades

In twenty seasons Premier League parked Wenger Arsenal never outside the top four. The Frenchman gave the club six FA Cups (1998, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014 and 2015) and three league titles (1998, 2002 and 2004). The latter title remained the Gunners ‘ whole season unbeaten. In 2006, lost to Wenger and Arsenal the Champions League final to Barcelona (2-1).

For Wenger, when Arsenal started to work, he had AS Monaco and the Japanese Nagoya Grampus Eight coached.
