Weird ‘monster’ captured on film ‘stalking a moose in the Canadian wilderness

Eerie video appears to show mystery creature stalking moose

Raw video: Canadian man records images of what appears to be a mysterious white creature stalking a moose on the edge of a forest in Quebec.

A bizarre video has gone viral, claiming to be a “six-foot creepy anonymous creature” allegedly “stalking an elk” in the Canadian wilderness.

The video, which was viewed more than 30,000 times, was posted by Audrée Tanguay Fréchette, who is not able to explain the images.

“I was filming a moose on a roadside in Gaspésie, Québec, Canada,” Fréchette wrote on YouTube. “A look at the video I saw this weird shape at the back left. [C]an someone tell me what it is?”

It is unclear what exactly Fréchette captured on film, but some YouTube commenters have likened it to Gollum, the fictional character of J. R. R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of The Rings” novels.

“Looks like Gollum,” a commenter wrote, while another wrote: “My dear,” a line of Gollum in “The Lord of the Rings.”

The others had more fun with the images, with a commenter saying it is the Rake, a mythical creature that preys on animals, without rhyme or reason.

“That looks like the Rake type creature stalking that moose. It must be quite high,” one commentator wrote.

The creature seems to stand on its hind legs, but it is not clear how high. The Sun called it a “6 feet tall to see.”
