Ethics complaint filed against Maxine Waters

Waters, comments, and other protests against Trump officials were prompted by outrage over the practice of separation of families crossing illegally the border, as a result of the application of the “zero-tolerance” policy. Trump has since moved to the end of this separation.

Democratic leaders, meanwhile, pushed back against the Waters’ comments. House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi distancing itself remarks of Waters, while the Senate democratic leader Chuck Schumer of the Senate to say that the bullying was of political opponents, “not really” and “not American.”

On Sunday, the water expressed surprise that they will be criticized by fellow Democrats.

“One of the things that I realize that a mandate-holder, in the final analysis, leadership, … will do everything that you think is necessary, to protect, to focus your leadership and so what I do is on you,” said Waters on MSNBC.
