Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin-who claims to be a conservative, is under fire for the statement that the wife will support selected from the “clueless old white guys” on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Republicans in question Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the Prosecutor “of Sheriff Joe’s operation.”

Rubin was referring to a controversial former Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, an ally of President Trump, the sheriff of Maricopa County in Arizona from 1993 to 2016. The self-proclaimed “toughest sheriff in America”, was pardoned by Trump, August 2017, after he was found guilty of criminal contempt for refusing a judge’s order to stop traffic patrols, the alleged immigrants.

“The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is a completely different Agency than the Maricopa County Sheriff’ s Office,” Maricopa County Attorney Office spokeswoman Amanda Steele told Fox News.

Senator Orrin Hatch noted, said Rubin maligning “someone with obviously false information.”

“Mitchell works for the Maricopa County Attorney, Maricopa County Sheriff,” Luke ‘ s office written.

The Daily Caller called Rubin to tweet “fake news”.

The Washington Post does not respond immediately to a request for comment.

“Mitchell works for the Maricopa County Attorney, Maricopa County Sheriff. It is, quite simply,” a user responds to Rubin’s tweet.
