Deputy respond to shoplifting call being hit by fleeing suspect outside grocery store in White Center, Washington.

A policeman in the american state of Washington is Monday injured when a shoplifting suspect intentionally struck the agent with her car in a supermarket car park, police said.

The King County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened around 4 a.m. in the White Center, which is located just outside of Seattle.

In the surveillance video from the store released by the department, the deputy can be seen pulling up and trying to chase the suspect before the car accelerates and stores the deputy, sending him in the air.

“As soon as he turn the corner the car drove away,” Sergeant Ryan Abbott told Q13 News. “They would have hit or killed someone else that was there.”

Video recordings are made for the fatal shooting of a Pennsylvania man by a suburban Chicago police officer shows a struggle with the armed man who was wanted in the death of another human being.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

The researchers found the vehicle involved in the incident, but did not find the suspect.

Authorities are now searching for the 18-year-old Khalia Wimberly in connection with the crime assault and robbery charges. The researchers told Q13 News that Wimberly was driving the car that struck the deputy.
