VVV-Venlo has Friday the contracts of seven selectiespelers formally terminated. The commitments of, among others, Ralf Seuntjens and the heavily injured Jerold Promes are not yet extended.
Also Johnatan Opoku, Moreno Rutten, Tristan Dekker, Delano of Crooij and Evren Korkmaz are in uncertainty about their future in Venlo, though a longer stay is not excluded.
“With a large number of these guys is currently being talked about their future. The talks are continuing,” said manager of football Stan Valckx on the website of the club.
The 29-year-old Seuntjens is working on his fourth season in Venlo and is under trainer Maurice Steijn is usually assured of a starting. Also Opoku and Rutten are often at the kick-off.

Promes will get a chance to contract to earn
The 35-year-old Promes state since mid-2013 and is under contract in Venlo. The defender is recovering from a serious knee injury. He ran in the duel with Heracles Almelo in February a broken kneecap. He comes only after the turn of the year back in action.
The stopper is in his recovery, assisted by the club and as soon as he is fit is the opportunity to have a new contract to earn the TOURIST office. “That opportunity, we want him for sure, especially also given his services to the club in the past six seasons,” said Valckx.
