VU conducts research to gebedsgenezing
A group of physicians from the Free University of the coming time, under the leadership of promoverend doctor Dick Kruijthoff research to people whose health has improved after, for example, a laying on of hands or anointing the sick.
The group will be stories to collect and to assess whether there may be scientific explanations for the healings, reports Trouw on Thursday.
Kruijthoff has already been a part of the cases in the map. Of the fifteen cases in eleven well known that there is yet to find an explanation for their healing.
It is the first time that specific research is being done to gebedsgenezing. “You can also look at the healings that occurred would be in other situations, but we choose to do this in relationship to prayer,” says Kruijthoff.
“That is relevant, because it’s never been done, while in some churches, however, much discussion is about gebedsgenezing.”
