Vice-President Mike Pence has brought in external legal adviser to handle its response to the ongoing investigations into the possible collusion between Russian officials and members of the President of the Trump campaign.
– Pence’s spokesman confirmed on Thursday that the Vice President maintained, had Richard Cullen of McGuire Woods “and help him in responding to requests by the special counsel”, referring to former FBI Director Robert Mueller.
“The Vice President is focused on his duties and promoting the President’s agenda, and hopes for a rapid conclusion to this matter,” Jarrod Agen told Fox News.
Richard formerly served as Virginia attorney general and U.S. attorney for the Eastern district of Virginia.
President Trump has also hired a private lawyer, Marc Kasowitz. Trump denies doing something wrong, and calls the efforts a “witch hunt.”
A Senior aide to Pence told Fox News that Cullen is the data retention was not committees in connection with the recent reports on the progress of the Mueller investigation or the investigation by the house and Senate intelligence.
