Visa application China being slightly eased
The requirements for applying for a visa for China are slightly relaxed. Travelers with a passport after 1 January 2014 were in the application a copy of a parent’s passport, must now only people with a passport after 1 January 2016.
Association of travel agencies, ANVR, let in addition to NU.nl know that applying for a visa since september 12, no more personal need: travel agents can the visa applications for customers.
China did not know why the requirements were tightened, the ANVR had previously know that this is to do with the fear of riots around a G20 summit in early september was held in Hangzhou.
