A woman Virginia will spend 40 years in federal prison for sexual abuse videos with a 6-year-old boy, according to court documents.
Christine Alyce Slayman, 28, pleaded guilty in August to the filming of the sexual abuse for a number of months in 2015 with the help of her cell phone, court documents said. The abuse took place in the King William, Va., but the videos were found in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received a tip and investigated Slayman’s Jacksonville home, the U. S. attorney’s office said. The authorities found nearly 20 different video files of Slayman entering into or performing of child sexual activity, according to the court documents.
Slayman’s lawyer said that his client is “critical instructed” by her boyfriend to engage in sexual acts with the child and film the abuse, WWBT reported. Slayman’s friend, who still is not charged, transfer the files to a USB drive, which he brought when the couple moved to Jacksonville from Virginia, her lawyer said.

His goal in the “preservation of the video,” said Slayman, the lawyer, “was to later extort behavior in accordance with his wishes.”

WWBT reported that the victim has the custody of another family member. It was not immediately clear what the child in relation to Slayman. The study involved Homeland Security and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
