Viewing live broadcasts, Tour-stages, slightly lower than last year
The viewing figures of the live broadcasts of all Tour de France stages that the NOS are broadcast, are slightly lower than last year. On average 727.000 viewers 748.000.
The Avondetappe of this year, by contrast, is the best-viewed edition of the NOS-evening programme around the Tour de France in the past five years.
According to the broadcaster pulled the latenightshow with Dione de Graaff and Herman van der Zandt on average 969.000 viewers.
The past weeks looked nearly 9.4 million people, a (part of) the programming around the popular wielerronde, that Sunday ended in Paris.
In addition to The Avondetappe they also attracted the successes of the Dutch cyclists many viewers, such as the victory in the final stage of Dylan Groenewegen (1.2 million) and the victory of Bauke Mollema (over 2 million).
The NOS Tourjournaal was this year on NPO 3 broadcast and attracted an average 153.000 viewers significantly less people than when it is still on NPO 1 was to be seen; last year an average of 654.000 viewers.
The ratings of Tour du Jour by RTL 7 were a lot less rosy than the previous edition in 2015. The numbers of Foundation for sight examination shows that there is an average of 188.000 people to the daily talkshow about the Tour looked (repetitions not counted) against 323.000 two years ago.
“We find it unfortunate that fewer people have explored than in previous years, but nevertheless, we are very satisfied with Tour du Jour”, responded to RTL Monday.
