The guy on the leash for about five minutes before he was to be found in the safe and secure Transportation Security Administration (TSA) bag in the room, the researchers said, according to WSB.
“He was just a long way away, and I couldn’t catch up,” Vega told WSB-TV. “I just wanted to jump in and try to get it for him, but I couldn’t do that.”
The boy was taken to the hospital with a serious swollen and bruised right hand, NBC News reported. It is not clear how he injured it.
