Verjaardagswandeling for Liesbeth List (75)
Liesbeth List gets its own walk in honor of her 75th birthday. Trail guide and kleinkunstkenner Daan Bartels take interested parties along the places where the singer for many years lived and worked in.
On Saturday morning, december 10, draws the eight kilometer long walk along the former houses of List, and past places where they often performed. A week later a follow-up walk that is entirely dedicated to the cooperation between List and Ramses Shaffy.
“Liesbeth loves Amsterdam and has many beautiful places lived, such as in the Roomolenstraat and on the Kloveniersburgwal. The walk leads round there and on the way tell me about the career of Elizabeth and her extraordinary life story,” says Bartels.
List itself is gold plated with its ‘own’ city walk: “I find this very special and an honor. I know Daan for a very long time and he has with great care all the information collected about what I have in all those years have done. And Amsterdam remains a beautiful city!”
The singer was on december 12, 1941 born in Bandung (former Dutch east Indies), spent several years in a japanese camp, grew up with foster parents on the island and made together with Famous in the sixties career in Amsterdam and then in the rest of the Netherlands.
