Vanja van der Leeden and her cookbook, Indorock, the Golden Book of 2019 was won. For the price, that is, by a jury of experts awarded the prize for the best original Dutch-language book of the year.

“Indorock, it is daring and contemporary, but at the same time, for the love of the land, the food, the culture and traditions of the area. The recipes Vanja van der Leeden rock, as the title suggests,” says the jury about the winning book.
The jury will be headed by the president, Janny van der Heijden, who is also the judges in the program, all of Holland Bakes. The members of the jury based their decision on the courts of the nominated cookbooks that they have made.
The award ceremony for the prize – a gold-on-a-sneeuitvoering of the book by Van der Heijden is the first day of the Week from the Cookbook. This is the third time that the Golden Book was presented. Last year it won Jigal Krant with his book, tel aviv.
