Van Niekerk prolongeert title in 400 meters at world CHAMPIONSHIPS athletics

Pierre-Ambroise Bosse picked up surprisingly the gold in the 800 metres. The Frenchman won in a time of 1.44,67, the Pole Adam Kszczot (second) and the Kenyan Kipyegon Bett (third).

Nijel Amos from Botswana was the big favorite, but came in the final leg deficit and eventually had to settle for a fifth place.
