Michael van Gerwen charges are still not rich for its Premier League match Thursday against the in a lesser form facing Adrian Lewis.

“I know that Adrian is not the form of his life, but you never know with him,” said Van Gerwen Wednesday on the website of dartsbond PDC. “Lewis can all at once turn over, so I should be prepared for a good Lewis.”

The 27-year-old Van Gerwen begins Thursday in Brighton as a shared leader of the fourth matchday in the Premier League. De Brabander has just as Phil Taylor and James Wade to five points from three matches.

The 32-year-old Lewis, world champion in 2011 and 2012, has only two points and stands seventh. “I think Adrian more out of his talent, than he is doing now”, says Van Gerwen. “Potentially, he is one of the best players there is.”

Although Van Gerwen himself quite on track after wins for Peter Wright and Jelle Klaasen, and a draw against Gary Anderson, he is still not satisfied with his game in the Premier League.

“I’m at the top, so I should not complain. But my best game is yet to come. I feel at least good and the most important is that I continue to win.”

Van Gerwen against Lewis Thursday evening, the second party in Brighton. The evening starts at 20: 00 with the game between Jelle Klaasen and Englishman Dave Chisnall. Raymond van Barneveld plays in the fifth and final match against the Scot Wright.
