Michael van der Mark on Sunday, fifth, and fourth place in the second and third race on the Australian Phillip Island world Superbike.

Alvaro Bautista showed himself this weekend all-powerful. He won both the first, the second and third race.

The Spaniard came at the beginning of this year of the MotoGP. He rode no less than eight years in the king’s class of motorsport.

Van der Mark was Saturday in the end of the season even as a fifth reached the finish.

Van der Mark was then nineteen seconds slower than Bautista and on Sunday the gap to sixteen seconds.

The four-time world Superbike champion Jonathan Rae ended up three times as the second.

Van der Mark is in the overall standings on the fifth place with 29 points, behind Bautista (62), Rea (49), Marco Melandri and Alex Lowes (both 30).
