Van den Brom surprised about relapse ‘adored’ AZ Tilburg

Coach John van den Brom is puzzled that AZ Sunday pretty pathetic 2-1 at Willem II lost. His team was working on a compelling series in the Eredivisie.

AZ had all the matches in 2019 won, and there was no goal against. The Alkmaarders had in Tilburg, however, no answer to the game of Willem II and were within a half-hour already 2-0 behind.

“I have amazement sit and watch. In advance, we were rightly adored by our game, but today I certainly in the first half so little in return”, said Van den Brom at FOX Sports.

“If you so starts, it is very difficult for the tide to return. Willem II immediately after the kick-off already had a chance and that Marco Bizot us within three or four minutes, twice had to rescue, says enough about how we started.”

Van den Brom, saw that AZ is not the same fight resulted as Willem II. “We were a shadow of the team that we can be. That is for me perhaps the biggest disappointment. We had a very opportunistic opponent who is full of the battle was joined, and we are not in though.”

“Thursday will have’

AZ lost earlier this season at home, all of Willem II and next Thursday are ‘The Tricolores’ again the opponent in Tilburg, when the semi-finals of the TOTO KNVB cup is on the program.

“This was an expensive lesson. We now have two times of Willem II lost and know that Thursday, a very beautiful and important race on the program. Then it will be different”, says the former coach of ADO Den Haag, Vitesse and Anderlecht.

“We can teach this lesson in the bag. We are all tremendously disappointed, only you must be careful that you are not going to save it and will think that you are nothing more can. I don’t believe in.”

AZ failed by the defeat in the Koning Willem II Stadium for the third spot in the Premier league to take over Feyenoord, with 1-1 gelijkspeelde at PSV. The bekerduel with Willem II begins Thursday at 20.45 hours.
