Van Bronckhorst hopes on the quick arrival Of Persie at Feyenoord

Giovanni van Bronckhorst hopes that Robin van Persie in the coming weeks, moved to Feyenoord. The trainer confirms the opposite of the AD that is in contact with the 33-year-old attacker of Fenerbahçe.

“We’re very happy,” said the 42-year-old Van Bronckhorst Friday. “I hope that green light comes. I know Robin is obviously good. It would be nice if we can use in the Champions League.”

Van Bronckhorst is also open to the possibility that Van Persie after the expiry of his contract in Turkey, after the upcoming season, to The Cockpit. “But preferably sooner, of course.”

Van Persie played from the age of thirteen in the youth of Feyenoord and made on 3 February 2002 his debut in the first in the Eredivisieduel with Roda JC (5-0). He won in his first season with Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup.

The attacker played in a total of 61 matches played for the Rotterdam club, where he and fourteen times scored. Robin Van Persie left in the summer of 2004 to Arsenal and played and then for Manchester United and is now out for Fenerbahçe.


The team also hopes that Steven Berghuis reconnect with the selection, but this is dependent on the employer for Watford. The attacker was last season thanks to the Premier League club, where he is still until mid-2019 under contract.

Van Bronckhorst expect there is more to tell. “I think we’re there in the weekend to know more about it. Steven, we have happy to be there.”

On the other hand, the departure of Vejinovic (rented to AZ), Dirk Kuijt (stopped), Eljero Elia (Basaksehir), Pär Hansson (Helsingborgs IF), Warner Hahn (sc Heerenveen), Rick Karsdorp (AS Roma), Terence Kongolo (AS Monaco), Wessel Dammers (Fortuna Sittard) and Simon Gustafson (loan to Roda JC).
