Use of video is unfortunately not in, because we need to connect to distribute it to travelers”
Since 2015, the wi-fi connectivity in trains to use the 4G network of T-Mobile. This allows higher speeds to be achieved than on the older 3G network, that was previously used. In the past few years the 4G coverage is also improved, giving passengers in more places can access the internet.
The NS calls upon travelers to be on the official serviceforum their experiences with the treinwifi to share, so the company can identify on which routes there are still any problems.
