Usb sticks with malware through letterboxes are thrown in Australia
Miscreants have usb-sticks filled with malware through letterboxes of houses in a suburb of the Australian city of Melbourne thrown in.
As the recipients of the usb-sticks in their pc’s stop, they are confronted with fraudulent offers for streaming services and other, not further gespecifeerde serious problems.
When users click the offers button, crash their computers, writes the police in the Australian state of Victoria.
The authorities say that people who have the usb-sticks in their mailbox to find, not in their pcs have to stop. It is not clear who is behind the action.
