NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. government on Thursday submitted to it, shall act in the place of one case against the Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei Technologies, Co., and the company’s Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou.
The suit was filed in federal district court in Brooklyn, New York.
It has taken the place of a criminal complaint against Huawei, with a conspiracy to commit the violation the Racketeer influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and conspiracy to steal trade secrets from six US technology companies to grow within the company. It also contains new allegations about the involvement of the company in countries that are subject to sanctions, such as Iran and North Korea.
The trade secret theft, internet router source code, antenna technology, and robotics.
Neither Huawei nor a lawyer acting on behalf of Meng, immediately responded to requests for comment.
