The US has reportedly pay more than $77,000 in the Scottish golf resort in the possession of the President of Trump before his visit last week, Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing the Federal government’s expenditure records.

The U.S. state Department spent $77,345.35 since April for “hotel rooms for VIP-visit.” Was Trump the club last weekend. The report said it was unclear whether all of the payments Trump’s visit is covered.

Eric Trump wrote on Twitter that Trump properties benefit from the U.S. government. He tweeted, “Although it is not necessary, we have decided that the United States Govt business, we calculate our COST and do NOT benefit from these stays. Much more would be spent if you stayed somewhere else.”
