Trump has received a cost-of criticism about the cost of commissioning in the case of a parade on the tax payer. Over the winter, the trump card of the budget Director said the cost would million between $10 and $30.

Since that time, cost estimates soared upward of $90 million.

In response to the rising costs of the parade, The American Legion, said that, while they invested were grateful for the “dramatic” show of support for U.S. troops, they thought the money would be “useful” elsewhere.

But up to the time when we celebrate the victory in the war against terrorism, and bring our military home, we think that the parade money would be better spent fully funding the Department of veterans Affairs and our troops and their families give the best possible care.”

“The American Legion appreciates that our President wants to show, in a dramatic way our nation’s stated support for our troops,” the statement. “But until such time as we celebrate the victory in the war against terrorism, and bring our military home, we think that the parade money would be better spent fully funding the Department of veterans Affairs and our troops and their families give the best possible care.”

Trumpf developed the idea for a military parade in the USA, after the participation in the France – Bastille day in July 2017, a celebration, which he called “great.”

The President shall be the route for the parade from the White house to Capitol Hill. It was intended to highlight the contributions made by veterans “in the history of the U.S. military,” according to a previous remark of the Minister of defense of Jim Mattis office. It would date from the war of independence to the present, “with a focus on the price of freedom.”
