(Reuters) – U.S. technology companies including Microsoft Corp., Facebook, Alphabet, Google, and Twitter, along with the curbing of misinformation about the corona virus in their platforms, the companies said in a joint statement issued on Monday.
The companies, who also have LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube, have said that they are working in co-ordination with the health sector, the government agencies all over the world to share important updates about the virus.
The United States has seen a sharp increase in virus cases, and more than 3,500 have been infected, and at least 74 people were killed, according to the Johns Hopkins University, and the public health authorities.
