(Reuters) – The Trump administration is considering limits on the Chinese video surveillance company Hikvision have the opportunity to buy American technology, the New York Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The Ministry of Commerce may require that U.S. companies obtain the approval of the government, to supply parts Hikvision, the limit of the company access to technology that helps the equipment, the NYT said.
