Unhealthy employee thinks work is 2.5 years shorter to keep up with

Unhealthy employees think their current work is only up to the age of the average 62,5 years to be able to sustain. That is more than 2.5 years shorter than the employees who experience good health, according to figures from the Central Bureau for Statistics.

The statistics agency conducted research among employees of between 45 to 65 years. Almost a quarter (23 percent) of the respondents gave a less good health.

The age at which people actually retire, is now average at 64 years and five months. The state pension age is currently 65 years and nine months.
