Officials in Florida on Sunday and rescued three children and a number of 246 animals, of different species from the “deplorable living conditions” in a house with three adults, police said.

The police department in Edgewater, north of downtown, said she received a phone call at 1:50 p.m. a man by the name of Johnson, Nelson, who said he wanted to put an end to his relationship with his wife, and his live-in girlfriend.

Nelson, he told me that the police wanted to take his three children away from us because the house was uninhabitable, but his wife probably wouldn’t let him, investigators said.

Responding officers said they found three children – ages 8, 9, and 10, and 246 species of animals living in squalor. According to a press release, the home was covered with feces and urine, with a number of rooms, single-deep waste disposal.

Edgewater police chief Joe Mahoney said on Monday, in the home, “which is probably the worst that he had ever entered.

“I felt so bad for the little girl. It’s just sad,” he added.

The police said the Department of Children and Families and the children before they are with another family member. The Edgewater police department and animal control took the dogs to a shelter.

Amanda Leclair, a veterinarian at the Edgewater animal shelter, told the Daytona Beach News-Journal proved to be of an animal breeding operation was on in the house.

In all, researchers have been rescued, four dogs, two cats, nine guinea pigs, 12 rabbits, four hamsters, a 10-flying opossums, 14 birds, two geckos, a tortoise, a hedgehog, and seven bearded dragons, a 95 mice and in 83 and rats, according to a press release.

Johnson, Nelson, and his wife, Susan, Nelson, and his live-in girlfriend, Melissa Hamilton, each face three counts of child abuse, and 66 counts of animal cruelty, according to police.

It was not clear if the suspects had defence lawyers.
